Exterior The exterior: performance meets sensuality. The fascinating design of the new Mercedes-AMG GT Coupé combines design clarity, sensual form language and sports car proportions in a brand-typical performance statement. As a vehicle developed entirely in-house by AMG, it clearly shows our passion for outstanding performance and exciting driving dynamics even when stationary.

    AMG Performance steering wheel

    For supremely supportive reactions: the AMG Performance steering wheel in 3-double-spoke design, flattened at the bottom, in carbon look with grip area in black MICROCUT microfibre. The left and right touch control panels, aluminium steering wheel gearshift paddles and AMG steering wheel buttons enable the perfect connection to the vehicle.[1]

    With the panoramic sunroof[1], you can create a particularly bright and friendly atmosphere in the interior. The glass module stretches across the entire roof area, thus creating the impression of a continuous glass area from the windscreen to the rear window. You are protected from strong sunlight by a manual roller sun blind.

Fast, sporty gear changing or barely noticeable shifting, according to the selected driving mode: the 9 gears ensure that the engine is particularly frequently in the ideal speed range.
      AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL Stability and agility in one: AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL employs state-of-the-art electronics to effectively compensate for rolling movements. Suspension and steering respond highly precisely to the driving conditions and carriageway. You benefit at the wheel from an intense, dynamic AMG driving sensation.       Active aerodynamics Active aerodynamic elements are integrated into the exterior design: from the AIRPANEL in the AMG front apron through the extending rear fender to the electrically extending aerodynamic profile under the engine and rear fender. The measures aim at a balanced ratio of low air resistance and reduced power take-off.
      PRE-SAFE® system The PRE-SAFE® system makes use of the time prior to an impending impact. Numerous measures can be initiated to reduce the loads generated as a result. The innovative PRE-SAFE® Sound generates a noise from the speakers which is able to trigger a natural protective reflex. This can protect the inner ear by damping the accident noise.
      Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC relieves the strain on the driver and provides support in both flowing and stop-and-go traffic. The intelligent system controls the distance from the vehicle in front, adapts the driving speed to what is happening en route and handles the demanding task of following a queue or traffic jam for you.[1]

      Active Lane Keeping Assist Active Lane Keeping Assist is an attentive observer: if you unintentionally leave your lane or get dangerously close to other road users, the system can bring you back into your lane with the help of steering intervention. However, if you still leave the lane, an additional warning will follow in the form of a steering wheel vibration.[1]

      360° camera Maintain an overview: the 360° camera's all-round view, including a virtual bird's eye view, is impressive and helps you when parking and manoeuvring.       GUARD 360° Plus vehicle protection GUARD 360° Vehicle protection Plus* offers all-round monitoring of the vehicle's surroundings. Thanks to the anti-theft alarm system, as well as emergency key deactivation, you are able to react quickly.
