"Project Geländewagen" is the first result of the collaboration between Mercedes-Benz and Virgil Abloh, Chief Creative Director and founder of the label Off-White as well as Men's Artistic Director of Louis Vuitton. In the conceptual design project led by Mercedes-Benz Chief Design Officer Gorden Wagener and Abloh, the Mercedes-Benz G-Class served as a starting point for exploring new ways of breaking down established notions of luxury and making room for future interpretations of luxury and the desire for exceptionality. The result is therefore located somewhere between reality and the future and presents the G-Class as a fictitious racing car in the style of the former DTM.
